Beyond the Wall
Beyond the Wall was a co-created project between Helen, Bill and young people with learning disabilities and autism working at Riverside House, the site of an abandoned iron works in Stourbridge.

Exploring themes of time, dereliction and local heritage the project began with the Riverside group selecting objects found on the site to which 5 artists from across the UK were asked to respond creatively. We also invited learning disabled students at Shetland College to produce a body of work in response to a different selection of found objects.

The Riverside group contributed to the curation of an exhibition of the found objects and artworks at the Artists Workhouse in Studley, Warwickshire, and the Waterside Gallery at the Canal and River Trust Hub in Dudley between February and April 2019.
